Dr. Carolyn Berghuis is the founder and owner of the Joy of Raphael. Through her vision we have created a space where all are welcome. In a delightful and easy way she helps educate people in making healthy, nutritious, life giving choices.
Dr. Carolyn has always had a great desire to excel academically and to pursue further knowledge. Her academic achievements include; a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Central Michigan University in which she graduated in the top one third of her class, a Masters Degree in Holistic Nutrition and a Doctoral Degree in Naturopathy, both of which she graduated with highest honors from Clayton College of Natural Health. Dr. Carolyn is one of only three Naturopaths certified by the American National Certification Board as a Certified Traditional Naturopath in Indiana. She is also a member of the American Naturopathic Medical Association and is one of only five women who sits on the National EPT Leadership Council.
Dr. Carolyn and her husband, Scott, are blessed with three children, two grandchildren, and a beloved Wheaton Terrier. They are very active in their community, participating as a volunteer in their church and their children's schools. |
